Terms and Conditions – Zak Furniture

This website is operated by Zak Furniture, a trading name of Zak Retail Ltd (referred to as “Zak Furniture”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By using this website or placing an order, you (the “customer” or “buyer”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms govern all transactions made via our website and supersede any other terms.

By placing an order with Zak Furniture, you consent to receive promotional emails and special offers from us. You can opt out of these communications at any time.

2. Use of Website

Your use of zakfurniture.co.uk signifies your agreement to these terms, along with our Privacy Policy. Zak Furniture reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. Continued use of the site following changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

3. Order Acceptance

Orders are only confirmed upon receipt of an email confirmation from us. This constitutes the formation of a contract, subject to product availability. If a product becomes unavailable after confirmation, we will notify you and issue a refund where applicable.

We strive for accuracy, but errors in product descriptions, pricing, or availability may occur. If such an error affects your order, we will contact you to offer a revised order or a full/partial cancellation with a refund.

All content on this site—including design, graphics, text, and layout—is the property of Zak Furniture or respective rights holders and is protected by copyright laws. You may only use this content for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction or distribution without prior written consent is prohibited.

5. Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable unless we cancel your order due to a pricing or availability issue. Cancelling an order or returning a product forfeits the deposit.

6. Discount Codes

Only one discount code may be used per order. Multiple or unauthorised use will result in cancellation. Zak Furniture reserves the right to revoke or amend any promotional code at any time.

7. Order Alterations

Changes to orders may incur additional charges. These will be communicated and must be agreed upon before changes are implemented.

8. Delivery

  • Delivery charges are non-refundable.
  • Delivery is to the front door unless assembly is selected.
  • Customers must accurately measure stairways and doorways. If items do not fit, the delivery team cannot accept returns at the door.
  • Special requirements must be noted at checkout or communicated immediately after placing the order.
  • If you miss the agreed delivery without prior notice, a redelivery charge of £60 will apply.
  • Delivery may be delayed due to weather or other factors beyond our control. We are not liable for any losses resulting from delivery delays.

9. Assembly Service

If selected, our team will deliver your bed to a room of your choice and assemble it. This does not include dismantling existing beds, removing old furniture, or disposing of packaging.

10. Warranty

We offer the following warranties:

  • 90-day comprehensive warranty covering defects in materials and craftsmanship.
  • 2-year parts replacement warranty for faults arising from manufacturing defects.

Exclusions: Normal wear and tear, misuse, and incorrect assembly are not covered.

11. Cancellations and Returns

Damaged or Missing Items:

Inspect goods on delivery and report any damage within 24 hours by email. Check for torn packaging or signs of mishandling before signing.

Cooling-Off Period:

You may cancel your order within 14 days of delivery. Written notice (email or letter) is required.

Return Conditions:

  • Items must be unused, in original packaging, and resaleable.
  • Include proof of purchase and any free items received.
  • Returns are not accepted for used, assembled, or custom-size items.

Charges:

  • Cancelled before dispatch: £75 admin/refund fee.
  • Returned due to incorrect size: £175 processing fee.
  • Return shipping is at customer’s expense.
  • Redelivery after failed access: £50 per pallet.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom-sized beds, headboards, footboards, or side rails.

Colour Disclaimer:

Colours may vary in person. We recommend ordering free fabric samples before purchasing. Dislike of colour or material is not a valid reason for return.

12. Return Logistics

Returned items must be:

  • Properly packaged.
  • In their original boxes (not written on or taped over).
  • Accompanied by a proof of postage or return tracking.

Zak Furniture is not responsible for returned items lost in transit.
